During his career as a teacher, Jason wanted to be able to help people on a more personal level and decided to pursue a career in psychology. In 2016 he received his bachelor of arts in Psychology, from Concordia University, and in 2019 completed a master of arts in Counselling Psychology, at McGill University. Jason takes a person-centered, culturally sensitive, and gender inclusive approach when working with clients. He works primarily from a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy approach to help client’s work towards their goals; however, he also has training and experience in Object Relations, Relational Psychodynamic insight-based approaches and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. Jason works with adolescents and adults looking for help with a wide array of mental health concerns including ADHD, Interpersonal Problems, Emotional Dysregulation, Trauma, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders, Substance Abuse, Depression, and Anxiety Disorders.
